EAGLE MOUNTAIN — Watering of lawns and gardens is not allowed in Eagle Mountain between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. each day.
Previously, there were assigned days of the week for watering lawns. But the city changed its policy to pervent daytime watering and encourage residents to water early in the morning or in the evening to make best use of water.
The city also encourages watering every three days to conserve water. And residents are encouraged to check sprinkler systems to make sure they are timed to comply with the ordinance and so that sprinkler heads are functioning properly.
