SALT LAKE CITY — Saturday's opening day at the Downtown Farmer's Market marked its 20th year helping the community support local vendors.

With more than 250 vendors, those visiting the market were able to choose from a variety of farmers, growers, and bakers, offering fresh produced as well as prepared food and beverages, packaged foods and specialties of local artisans.

The market is open Saturday mornings and Tuesday evenings through October at Historic Pioneer Park at 300 S. 300 West in downtown Salt Lake.
