Obituary: LIEN, MARY

Mary L. Lien1931-2012Our sweetest and beloved wife, mother and friend, passed away July 22, 2012 surrounded by her family and friends. Mary was born November 27, 1931 in Alpine, Utah to Joseph S. Little and Virla Bell Faulk. She graduated from Jordan High 1950. Married Ralph C. Farley they had four children and later divorced. Then she married the love of her life Don A. Lien. Together they had Jonathan Lien. Mary enjoyed reading, camping, fishing, family and being the hostess to all the Dutch oven parties she and Don hosted. She has gone to Big Lake to fish for the big ones.Survived by her husband of forty-one years, Don A. Lien and sons Craig (Suzanne) Jeffrey, Lester (Jean) Farley and daughter Lisa F. Heaney and Jonathan Lien. Eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. She was a surrogate mom to many over the years which she loved like her own. She will be missed by many brothers and sisters, family and friends.Viewing Friday, July 27, 2012 at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 S State from 6-8 p.m. Services 11:00 a.m. on Saturday with viewing one hour prior to services.
