Sanya Richards-Ross says the Jacksonville Jaguars have made an "unprecedented" gesture in allowing her husband, cornerback Aaron Ross, to leave training camp to watch her compete in the London Games.

"It's such a thrill because he'll see me compete at a major event live for the first time," she says. "It means the world to me."

Aaron Ross will miss three days of camp and be in London for the women's 400 meters finals. She praised the Jaguars as a "family-first" organization.

Richards-Ross will also compete in the 200 meters, but said most of her focus is on the 400, her signature event. "The 200 would be icing on the cake," she said. "The 400 is the cake."
