Yeolande Edna Johnson1917 ~ 2012Yeolande Edna (Betty) Johnson page 94 passed away peacefully in Salt Lake City, Utah . She was born December 17, 1917 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Fred Schwin and Mona Davis. She attended and graduated from East High School and the University of Utah. She married John Hilding Johnson in Salt Lake City, Utah.Mom earned a Master Degree in Social Work from the University of Utah and worked for the State of Utah for most of her life. She later volunteered her time to the Assistance League and other charities. She is survived by two sons, Todd and Stephen and three grandchildren, Melissa Foster, Allison and Christopher Johnson and one great-grandchild Charles Todd Foster. She enjoyed traveling with her husband to various world places. She also enjoyed Tole painting and doll making as hobbies. Those wishing may make contributions to The Shriner's Hospital on her behalf. There will be a viewing Sat., Aug. 4th from 10a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Evans and Early Mortuary, 574 East 100 South, SLC.
