Robert Vern Wayman1988 ~ 2013Robert Vern Wayman passed away peacefully at home on January 17, 2013 in Riverton, Utah due to complications of cerebral palsy. He was born December 7, 1988 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Robert lived a life with a sweet, strong spirit while struggling in a body with severe disabilities. Even though he couldn't speak, he communicated through his smile and beautiful big brown eyes. He was a fighter to the end, patiently enduring years of medical procedures and ill health. He loved music, hugs, and interaction with friends and family. During his life he taught us service, patience, endurance, faith and unconditional love. He touched many lives for good. He is survived by his parents Paul and Linda; brothers and sisters: Debora and Mark; Alan and Julie; Adam and Natalie; Carl and Heather; and Derek; grandparents: Vern Wayman; Robert and Beth Hendricks; eleven nieces and nephews and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandmother Ruth. There are many phenomenal people who have cared for and helped us with Robert throughout his life. We are eternally grateful for all the people who have touched his life or had his life touch theirs. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at the Oquirrh 2nd Ward, 12830 S. 2700 W. Riverton, Utah. A viewing will be held from 10 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the funeral.
