Nancy Berry1947 ~ 2013Nancy Roberta Street Berry, 85, beloved wife, mother, Nana, Great-Grandmother, sister, and dear friend passed away at home Sunday, January 20, 2013 in the arms of her loving husband.She was born in Park City, Utah to David Lawrence and Lillis Virginia Street and was the eldest of four children.She married her high school sweetheart, Howard Murdock Berry on September 20, 1947 in Park City. They moved to Salt Lake City where they were later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple on January 11, 1961. They lived in Salt Lake for over 50 years before moving to Rigby, Idaho. Her greatest joy was her family. She and Howard were blessd with five children, 22 grandchildren, and 32 great-grandchildren. They often traveled to attend blessings and baptisms, and loved attending their ballgames and other activities.She loved camping, and spent many summers in the mountains of Utah and Wyoming. She also loved to travel and especially loved Disneyland and Hawaii. Nancy enjoyed reading, sewing and hand crafted things, especially ceramics. She was an excellent cook and made wonderful candy. She loved watching and attending football and basketball games, and she and Howard enjoyed golfing and playing cards with their friends.She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many positions including Primary Teacher, Young Women's President, and Relief Society President. She and Howard served two service missions: one in the Granite Park Stake in the Granite Park Ward and the other in the Records Department at the Church Office Building. The Church was an important part of her life.Nancy is preceded in death by her parents and her brother William Street.She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Howard Berry of Rigby, Idaho, children Robert (Sheila) Berry of Park City, Utah, Michael (Beth Ann) Berry of Draper, Utah, Mark (Deborah) Berry of Weston, Florida, Mary Alice (Kim) Taylor of Rigby, Idaho and Richard (Kay) Berry of St. George, Utah, brother Jack (Midge) Street of Mesquite, Nevada and two sisters Dorothy VanWagoner of Provo, Utah and Nelladee Street of Blanding, Utah. Funeral service will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, January 26, 2013 at the Canyon Rim 1st Ward, 3100 East 3000 South Salt Lake City, Utah. The family will visit with friends on Thursday January 24, 2013 at the Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby, Idaho (101 W. Main) from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The viewing prior to the funeral on Saturday will be from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Canyon 1st Ward Building.
