Geoffrey P. Mang9/20/1960 ~ 1/18/2013Geoffrey was born in Inglewood, California to Wilfred John Mang and Shirley Doane Mang. He spent his early years surfing and engaging in a beautiful relationship with music and literature. His college years were spent at the University of Utah where he studied English and Philosophy. It was there he established relationships with the Sigma Nu Fraternity Brothers and good friends who would remain deep in his heart for the rest of his life. At the University of Utah, he met his life-long best friend and mother of his two daughters, Suzy Wheeler Mang. Geoff went on to affect countless lives in this beautiful world that he was so driven to explore. The last year of his life was spent in a loving relationship with an incredibly beautiful angel, Michelle Omana, who helped guide and care for him during his final journey. The family offers endless thanks and gratitude to all who cared for him during his final months. Survived by his loving daughters, Carly and Cassie Mang; brother, Barry Mang; sister, Aneliese Faulconer; mother, Shirley Doane Mang. Preceded in death by his father, Wilfred John Mang.A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, January 27, 2013, at 10:00 a.m., followed by a reception from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., at the Memorial House in Memory Grove, 485 N.
