Alan Park Johnson1936 ~ 2013Alan Park Johnson, 76, died Sunday, January 20, 2013 at his home in Rancho Santa Fe, CA. He was born March 20, 1936 to Amy Park and Theodore R. Johnson in Tooele, UT. He attended Ogden High School and graduated at the top of his class from the University of Utah School of Accountancy. After serving three years in the Samoa LDS Mission where he also performed translations, he moved to Los Angeles and worked as a Tax Manager at Arthur Andersen & Co. He married Jeri-Lynn Baker on September 17, 1970 in Los Angeles. Together they moved to San Marino in 1972 where he began working for Charles E. Cook. Upon Charlie's death in 1986, Alan became CEO and Chairman of the Board of Kelley Blue Book and Community Bank (headquartered in Pasadena, CA). He was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Alan is survived by his wife and two daughters, Amy (Kyle) Jones and Jennifer Zuffinetti (fiancé Matthew Denmark); three grandchildren, Lincoln, Emerson and Ainsley Jones; and a brother, Joseph (Merlene) Johnson of Ogden, UT.
