Virginia Lee Larsen1930 ~ 2013Virginia Lee Larsen (Rainy/Olsen) returned home to her heavenly father, Saturday January 26, 2013. She passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family after a wonderful, full life of 83 years. Virginia was born January 12, 1930 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Isabelle James and Paul Rainey. She grew up in Sugarhouse and graduated from East High School in 1948. She attended the University of Utah. She Married Robert Lund Olsen in 1950 and together they had 5 children. She was widowed in 1967 and in 1969 she was married to Billy Kirk Larsen. Who had 5 children as well, for whom she took on the active role as mother. Together they had a daughter and raised a combined family. Above all else Virginia loved family and serving others. She was an active member of the L.D.S Church, and served in many callings. Virginia had a special love of animals and always had pets. She dearly loved her honey Billy, and looked forward to getting to spend time and all eternity together.Children are Kathy (Richard) Button, Brent (Laura) Olsen, Cory Olsen, Vicki (Pete) Burgos, Wendy (Steve) Hilton, Patricia (Russell) Reynolds, Evan (Vikki) Larsen, Terry Larsen, William Larsen, Ruth (Dan) Harris, Kenny Larsen, and many, many grandchildren and great grandchildren. "If there ever comes a time when we can't be together, keep me in your heart, I'll stay there forever"- As quoted by Winnie The Pooh.Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 31, 2013 at Clinton 18th Ward 2206 W. 2300 N., Clinton, Utah. Family and friends may gather at 9:30 a.m. for viewing. Services to begin at 11:00 a.m. Graveside dedication and interment will be at Larkin Sunset Gardens 1950 E. 10600 S. Sandy, Utah.
