Vivian W. Price1915 - 2013Our beloved mother and grandmother, Vivian Whitehead Price, age 97, passed away January 29, 2013 in Bountiful, Utah of natural causes.Born December 25, 1915 in Lund, Nevada to Rennie Adolphus Whitehead and Veda Mae Terry, the oldest of four daughters. Married J. Newell Price September 1, 1938 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Vivian was an excellent homemaker. She also worked for ZCMI for many years. She was very active in the LDS Church and held numerous callings. After retirement she and her husband served an LDS Mission to Hawaii. They also served in the Salt Lake Temple for many years as ordinance workers.She was preceded in death by her husband and two younger sisters. She is survived by her five children: DeNae (Ken) Schaefermeyer, John D. (Marie), Earl D. (Sheila), Marilyn Lems, and Kathie (Leland) Tomlinson, Sister Reva Gardner, 20 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 2, 2013 at noon in the Larkin Mortuary Chapel, 260 East South Temple, Salt Lake City, Utah with a viewing prior to the service from 10:30 until 11:45 am. Interment Valley View Memorial Park.
