Beverly Rae Ogaard RoeApril 10, 1923 ~ January 28, 2013Our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, Beverly Rae Ogaard Roe passed away peacefully on January 28, 2013. She was born April 10, 1923 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Henry Emil Ogaard and Ramona Latelle Jensen. Beverly was a devoted homemaker and member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Her family was her greatest treasure. She truly embodied and lived a life of service and compassion, following the example of the Savior Jesus Christ. Although saddened by her passing, we are comforted in the knowledge that she is experiencing a great reunion with her loving husband Don and other family and friends who have been awaiting her arrival. She leaves a lasting legacy of faithful devotion to family and a commitment to serve and bless the lives of others.Preceded in death by her husband, Don, her parents Henry and Ramona Ogaard. Survived by her three sons Charles (Rosemary), James (Lori) and Jeff (Nancy), nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and her sister, Connie Hamilton.Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 2, 2013 at 12:00 Noon at the Gundersen Lane LDS Church, 1925 East Gundersen Lane (4101 South), Salt Lake City, Utah. A viewing will be held on Friday evening, February 1, 2013 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. also at the Gundersen Lane LDS Church and from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. prior to the funeral services. We express appreciation to medical services providers and caregivers who cared for her over the last few months. In lieu of flowers Beverly would want us all to perform an act of charitable service for a family member or neighbor.
