Utah State’s Kerwynn Williams added another postseason honor Wednesday by being named to the CBSSports.com 2012-13 All-Bowl Team.

Williams joined Alabama’s Eddie Lacy as the two running backs on the all-bowl team. Other offensive players named to the CBSSports.com All-Bowl Team include quarterback Johnny Manziel (Texas A&M); wide receivers DeAndre Hopkins (Clemson), Jordan Taylor (Rice) and Ace Sanders (South Carolina); tight end Travis Kelce (Cincinnati); and the Alabama offensive line of Cyrus Kouandjio, Chance Warmack, Barrett Jones, Anthony Steen and D.J. Fluker.

Williams, a 5-foot-8, 189-pound senior running back from Las Vegas, Nev. (Valley HS), rushed for a career-high 235 yards on just 18 carries (13.1 ypc) with three touchdowns in Utah State’s 41-15 win against Toledo in the 2012 Famous Idaho Potato Bowl. Williams had 198 rushing yards in the fourth quarter alone on just seven carries as he had touchdown runs of 63, 5 and 25 yards as the Aggies outscored the Rockets, 28-9, in the final 15 minutes.

Williams, who added two receptions for 34 yards in the contest, was named the Most Valuable Player of the game, as his 235 rushing yards tied for the second-most in the 15-year history of the bowl and were the 11th-most in a single-game in school history. Williams also tied his career-high with his three rushing touchdowns against UT, which is also the second-most in Famous Idaho Potato Bowl history.
