Ada Weir WadeNov. 30, 1921 ~ Oct. 6, 2013Ada Weir Wade passed away Oct. 6, 2013. She was born Nov. 30, 1921, in Preston, Idaho to Thomas Weir and Gladys Bosworth. She married Clyde Stratford Wade Oct. 18, 1942. She taught elementary school for 39 years. She served as Elementary Representative on the Ogden Education Association board, editor of the OEA magazine, president of the Ogden City Schools librarians and as president of Delta Kappa Gamma.Ada provided culture for her children which included music lessons and tuition.Ada served in many callings in the LDS Church. She served countless hours extracting genealogical records and served in the Ogden Temple.Ada is survived by her children Patricia (Trish), Leslie (Les) and Kim, five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and three brothers. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and three sisters.A viewing will be held in West Valley, Friday, October 11, 2013, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Peachwood Ward, 3963 South 3480 West.
