Maxwell Cannon Peck1918 ~ 2013Our loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Maxwell Cannon Peck passed away on October 5, 2013 in Bountiful, Utah. He was born on July 2, 1918 in Magna, Utah to George Ernest and Ida Christine Peck. He graduated from Davis High School, Kaysville, Utah and attended the University of Utah. Max was enlisted in the Army Air Force as a radio operator for B-25 bombers during World War II. He married Esther Elizabeth Schutz on August 12, 1947 in the Salt Lake Temple. Max worked as plant operator for Kennecott Copper Corporation for 27 years. In 1995, Max and Esther served a mission for the LDS church in Granite City, Missouri. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, his eight children, 32 grandchildren and 42 great-grandchildren.Friends are invited to visit with the family on Friday, October 11, 2103 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Russon Mortuary (295 N. Main St., Bountiful, Utah). Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 12 at 11:00 a.m. at the Bountiful Heights Ward building (33 South Moss Hill Dr., Bountiful, Utah), with an additional viewing from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Interment will be at the Bountiful Cemetery.
