Ellen LjungbergOct. 9, 1924 ~ Oct. 6, 2013Ellen Ljungberg went peacefully on October 6, 2013 into the arms of her loving husband Rolf who preceded her in death November 26, 1986, after a wonderful married life of 39 years. She was so graciously cared for by her loving children, Liz (John), Ralph (Connie), Scott (Debby) and Dick (Debby) and her special caregiver Kathy. She was most happy when surrounded by her family at special mealtimes with all her traditional Norwegian food and especially her cookies. She is survived by her large family of four children, 12 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and two great, great-grandchildren; brother Hans (Helene) and sister-in-law Miriam and nieces and nephews. She had many friends from her numerous years at ZCMI and throughout her life who loved her. Her greatest pleasures and talents were cooking, sewing, knitted Norwegian sweaters and crocheted afghans. We will always love and miss her. Services will be Oct. 12th at Mtn. View Memorial, 3115 E 7800 S, Cottonwood Heights, UT. Viewing at 2:00 PM and graveside services at 3:00 PM.
