Kailee Buirgy Hoopes1975 ~ 2013Salt Lake City, UTKailee Buirgy Hoopes, 38, beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend returned to her Heavenly Father on September 26, 2013, after a short illness. She was born in Bangkok, Thailand on Aug. 9, 1975, and adopted into her forever family by her mother Jane Buirgy and sisters Leisha and Kara on Nov. 26, 1977. Kailee graduated from Highland High School and went on to study human services at University of Phoenix and University of Utah. She married Ryan Hoopes, her loving husband on October 1, 2011, at a hoedown wedding in the wilds of Utah. Ryan's devotion and love for Kailee was unwavering during her illness as he stayed by her side and ensured the best care for her. Kailee took pride in her work as a care coordinator at the Utah Department of Health's Baby Your Baby program, regional sales rep for Black Rhino Tools in Salt Lake, travel agent for Freedom Travel 4 You and, most importantly, stay at home mom for daughter Janessa and son Hayden. Kailee recently had the joyous opportunity to meet her first daughter Tienna. Kailee was spirited and talented. As a child she danced with Ballet West in the Nutcracker and cheered for Highland High. Throughout her life she was known for her wonderful gatherings where everyone was welcomed and shared her amazing cooking and wild sense of humor. Kailee is survived by her husband, her children, her mother, sisters Leisha (Archie), Kara (Michael), Amy (Cameron); aunts Lenore (Bob), Suzanne (Judy), Alyce (Frank), LaDene; nieces Monique and Nikara; nephews Noah and Remi; cousin Jennifer; In-laws Kathi and Richard Hoopes; and numerous loving and faithful friends. Her wonderful spirit and life will be celebrated at 12 noon, Friday, Oct. 4 at the LDS Stratford Ward, 15th E and Stratford Ave: sharing time for family and friends at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be at Mountain View Cemetery following the service.
