Sharon Gail Sessions Heiss1940-2013Salt Lake City, UTSharon Heiss, wife of Frank W. Heiss, passed this from this life on Sunday, October 20th, 2013 in Murray, Utah due to a sudden illness. She was surrounded by many loving family members and friends. Sharon was born November 10, 1940 in Berkeley, California. Sharons' greatest joy and treasure was her family. She is survived by her husband, Frank W. Heiss. They were married 18 years ago in the Oakland, CA temple. She is also survived by her daughter Judi Judkins (Kent). Sharon gained another family with her marriage to Frank, and felt it a blessing to be another mother to sons Matt (Becky), Reid (Karen), Rod (Marie) and daughters NIcki and Stacey. She was blessed to be a grandmother to 13 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She loved spending time with her family and was the organizer of many family dinners, game nights, birthday parties and holiday gatherings. Sharon is also survived by her brother, Ron Sessions, sister, Carol Hyatt, nieces, a nephew and many cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents, Chester G. Sessions and Lorna P. Bower Sessions. Sharon was deeply loved by her family and will be greatly missed. Sharon was an active member of the LDS church. She had a deep testimony and took pride in her pioneer heritage. She served in many church assignments as a leader, teacher and missionary. She and her husband, Frank, served three humanitarian service missions in Beirut, Lebanon; Frankfurt, Germany and in the offices of Church Headquarters in the Humanitarian Services department. Sharon was most recently released as a missionary in the Riverton Family Search Library. Sharon loved life, loved people and brought joy to her family, friends, and neighbors. Her funeral will be Monday, October 28th 2013 at the Hidden Valley 4th Ward building at 1450 Raddon Dr., Sandy, Utah at 11am. Viewing will be Sunday, October 27th, 6-8pm and Monday, October 28th, 9:30-10:30am at the same address. Interment will follow the funeral at Mountain View MemorIal Cemetery, 3115 E. 7800 S.
