Dorothy Derbyshire Wilson1924 ~ 2013North Salt Lake, UTDorothy Derbyshire Wilson wife, mother, and Nana passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Oct. 22, 2013.Born July 29, 1924 to Joseph and Marietta Jensen Derbyshire in Salt Lake City. She met the love of her life Eldon Lucky Wilson. They ran away to Preston, Idaho and were married May 25, 1941. Their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple on March 7, 1947. They had a love of camping and spent many hours traveling in their trailer and searching for arrowheads. They spent 72 1/2 years together and were seldom seen apart. Their love for each other was an example to all.She is survived by her husband Eldon, daughters Judy Rose Bobb, Dottie Lee Mitchell (Dave E Ward Sr.), seven grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren, 4 sisters, and her sister in law. She is preceded in death by her parents and in laws, 1 sister, 1 brother, and her son in law.Family visitation will be Friday Oct. 25, 2013 from 6-8 pm at Lakeview Memorial Estate.
