Glen Ewell1949- 2013Salt Lake City, UtahOur Beloved Husband, Father and Grandfather passed away October 24, 2013 after his courageous 3rd battle with cancer. He was born on January 23, 1949 in Cedar City, Utah to Rebecca LeaMaster and Harold P. Ewell. His young years were mostly spent in Las Vegas, Nevada. He served a mission to Australia for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He married Mary Cottam in the St. George temple on December 29, 1970. She was the love of his life. He was devoted to her, and although his last days were painful, he fought every minute to extend his time with her. Glen loved his country and served two honorable overseas tours to Vietnam and Korea. He was a rarity in this world, and no obituary will ever be able to fit enough words needed to express his attributes. He loved others unconditionally, and was never unkind to anyone. He was selfless. Above all he was a caring father who lovingly provided for his 7 children, Evelyn (Tyler) Robison, Rebecca (Michael) Henriksen, Jeffery (Jenny) Ewell, Joshua Ewell, Sara (Brent) Emett, Joel (Jessica) Ewell, Ian (Roxie) Ewell. He is survived by his wife and children, his siblings: Phyllis, Wallace, Harold Jr., Rosalie. He had 19 Grandchildren. He will be deeply missed. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11 am at the Starcrest ward house 874 N Starcrest Dr. A viewing will be held Mon. Oct. 28 from 6-8 at Garner Funeral Home 1001 E. 11th Ave. and one hour prior to the funeral service
