Janice Louise Bock Nakken Llewellyn1936 ~ 2013Janice Louise Bock Nakken Llewellyn passed away on October 5, 2013. She was born to Bertha Evaline Jones and Peter Richard Bock on September 11, 1936 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was raised on her parent's dairy farm in South Salt Lake and attended Granite School District. She married Alma John Nakken (deceased) on October 28, 1954; their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake City Temple, they were married for ten years. She married Glen H. Llewellyn on June 7, 1968, they celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary this year. Janice was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in various callings, including Primary teacher, Young Women's leader and in the Relief Society Presidency. She was a DUP Captain in Bountiful, UT and enjoyed sewing, reading and traveling to Hawaii. She is survived by her husband, Glen; children, Susan Rae (Brian) Devenish, Springville, UT; Douglas John (Ann) Nakken, Kaysville, UT; and Sandra Kay (Charles) Johnson, Grantsville, UT; six grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, who referred to her as Grandma "L"; and brother, Dennis C. (Marie) Bock, Salt Lake City, UT. She was preceded in death by her parents. A special appreciation to Symbii Hospice for their loving care. Graveside Services will be held Thursday, October 10, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Salt Lake City Cemetery, 4th Ave. N Street.
