The Utah Grizzlies return to the Maverik Center to start a five-game home stand, their longest of the year, this weekend with Ontario.

The Grizzlies have collected four of six standings points at the Maverik Center this year and hold a 1-0-1-1 record on home ice through three games.

Adam Pineault is one of five ECHL players who has scored in the first six games of the year. He has seven assists in six games.

David Vallorani continues his torrid pace to start the season. He has scored in five of six games and has two goals, seven assists, nine points and three multiple-point games already. Berkley Scott also has one goal and four assists for five points in five games.

The Grizzlies face Ontario on Friday, Saturday and Monday for the first time since the Reign eliminated Utah in last year’s playoffs.

Friday is Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Night featuring Monique Pineault, the wife of Grizzlies forward and assistant captain Adam Pineault.

Saturday is “Pooch on the Pond” where fans are encouraged to bring their dogs to the game for $24 a person with their dog. After Saturday’s game is a free post-game skate. Skate rental is $2.

Monday is the first Maverik Monday of the year. Fans can get six tickets for $30 with a receipt from Maverik.
