Russell DeMar Gadd1957~2013Russell DeMar Gadd passed away November 5, 2013. He was born on March 22, 1957 to DeMar and Lucille Gadd of Nephi, Utah. Russell was raised in Nephi and graduated from Juab High School and Nephi LDS Seminary. He received a Business Degree from Utah Technical College. He was well-liked and had many friends. At age 12, Russ started working for his grandpa, Don Gadd, at the NAPA store. He eventually became the owner. He loved the store and spent many hours to maintain a successful business. Russ served on the Nephi City Council and served as President of the Nephi Jaycees. He was very generous and kind-hearted. He was always willing to help people in need and donated to many causes and charities. Russ enjoyed golfing and was a member of a bowling league for many years. He loved his dogs, Lou and Lucy. Although Russ never had any children of his own, he was privileged to be a dad to 7 step-children. In 1985, he married Lynda McDonald and cared for and helped raise her four daughters, Tiare, Sonne, Robin, and Katrina. They were later divorced. He married Annette Beddoes in 2000 and cared for her 3 children, Jessi, Bradee, and Knik. They were later divorced. Russ is survived by his parents, DeMar and Lucille Gadd, siblings, Rick (Lori) Gadd, Debbie (Duane) Robinson, Vance (Robin) Gadd, 10 nephews and nieces, Annette Gadd, Jessi (Clint) Larson, Bradee (Nicole) Beddoes, Knik Beddoes, 7 grandsons and 1 granddaughter. The family expresses gratitude to the many people who loved and supported Russ through his adversities. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 8, 2013, at the Nephi 4th/5th Ward LDS Chapel, 345 East 500 North, Nephi, UT. Friends and family may call at the Anderson Funeral Home, 94 West 300 North, Nephi, Utah, Thursday, November 7, 2013, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and at the Church one hour prior to services.
