COTTONWOOD HEIGHTS — On Jan. 7, three city officials will be sworn into office.

Mayor Kelvyn Cullimore Jr. will begin his third term in office, City Councilman Tee Tyler will begin his second term, and City Councilman Mike Peterson, who was appointed to fill a vacancy on the council in 2011, will begin his first full term as an elected official.

The ceremony will take place at 5 p.m. in the City Council chambers on the third floor of the city offices, 1265 E. Fort Union Blvd. The public is invited to attend, and refreshments will be served.
