Charles Richard Wright1935 ~ 2013Charles Richard Wright was born May 20th, 1935 to Ralph Bassett Wright and Afton Middlemiss. He was fond of telling stories of his youthful summers spent with his boyhood pals and twin brother, Bob, prowling the Bonneville Golf Course, or with his family fishing the Weber River, or at a Boy Scout camp that was once called "Tracy Wigwam" in his beloved Millcreek Canyon. He was an Eagle Scout.Richard graduated from East High School and later went on to graduate from the University of Utah and become a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity. He was proud to have served an LDS mission to Liverpool, England; he crossed the Atlantic aboard both Queen Mary and United States.In March of 1961, Richard married the love of his life, Elizabeth Frantz. They went on to lead a vigorous and interesting life as parents of three children, business owners, world travelers, and lifelong friends.Richard's career began in the mortgage banking industry, but for most of his business life he was the co- owner and operator of Utah Roses, a thriving commercial greenhouse operation, and a business leader.He was nationally recognized as an innovator in floricultural production practices, with many of his fundamentals still in use today.He was an avid golfer, a skillful fisherman, and loved to be out on the lake in his boat with his family.Charles Richard Wright passed away on December 10th, 2013 after a lingering illness. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth, and three children: Richard (Kate), Lizzie Black (Scott), and Chris (Michele); also by eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his older brother RalphWright, and his younger brother, David Wright.A private graveside service was held in his honor at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Salt Lake City, UT on Dec. 14th,
