Obituary: BARTON, JAMI

Jami Williams Barton1976 - 2013Salt Lake City, UtahJami Williams Barton passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 26, 2013 and returned to her Heavenly Father.Jami was a beloved mother, wife, daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, aunt, cousin and friend. Family meant everything to Jami and she taught us all how to laugh regardless of any situation, love one another and always be there for each other. She served faithfully in many church responsibilities including loving service as Young Women's President. Jami endured faithfully through eight years of illness - eternally influencing her children while being a loving companion to her husband. By her example, everyone around her learned endless sacrifice, kindness, patience, faith, love, and selfless service.Jami was born March 17, 1976 and grew up in Salt Lake City, Northern California and Washington. After graduating from Woodinville High School near Seattle she completed a degree in elementary education from the University of Utah, showing great talent for teaching both children and adults.Jami is survived by her devoted and loving husband Carl Barton, three children Elli, Nicole, and Ben, parents Jerry and Ann Williams, sister Allison (Eric) Zollinger, two brothers Eric (Katie) Williams and Mike (Joy) Williams and grandparents Frank and Nadine Davis and Veirl and Louise Williams.Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 30, 2013 at 11:00 am at the Grandview 3rd Ward chapel, 2930 South 2000 East in Salt Lake City. Friends may visit with the family on Sunday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the same location and also at the chapel on Monday morning from 9:30 to 10:45 am prior to the service. Internment will be at Wasatch Lawn Cemetery, 3401 South Highland Drive. Jami's favorite charities are Primary Children's Hospital and Neuroworx. Online condolences at www.larkincares.com
