Obituary: BUEHLER, JAY

Jay Sylvan Buehler1918 ~ 2013Jay Sylvan Buehler, was born to Ezra Richard Buehler and Mable Smith Buehler in Park City Utah on November 13, 1918. Jay's mother Mable died at childbirth and he was raised by his Aunt and Uncle Earl and Mae Smith of Heber City. Jay married the love of his life Donna E. Sorensen on November 1st 1943, they were sealed for Time and Eternity in the Idaho Falls Temple on April 15, 1965. Jay loved life and had many friends. He loved hunting with the boys. He loved horses and little kids and they loved him. Jay loved football and never missed watching his favorite team the Dallas Cowboys. He was always willing to help others. Jay and Donna lived in Heber City for many years and later moved to Casa Grande Arizona where they were living at the time of his death. Jay is survived by his wife Donna, Casa Grande, Arizona, Sons Richard (Rhonda), Riverton, Utah; Gail, Lake Creek, Utah and Daughter Diane, Casa Grande Arizona: nine grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his son Larry Pace.Funeral services will be held Friday, Dec. 6th, 1:00 pm at Olpin-Hoopes Funeral Home, 288 North Main Street, Heber, UT. Viewings will be held at the Funeral Home Thursday, Dec. 5th, 6-8 pm and Friday, Dec. 6th, 12 noon prior to services. Interment will follow at the Heber City Cemetery.
