H. Kent Forbes1935 ~ 2013Our loving husband, father, and grandfather passed away on January 29, 2013. He was born on September 8, 1935 to Ray John and Ada Irene Peek Forbes in Layton, Utah. He married Melanie Rich on June 28, 1958 in the Logan Temple. They had four children from this marriage.He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter Stephanie, his son Cody and his daughter Sandy. He is survived by his wife Melanie, his daughter Penny (Kevin) Teuscher and a granddaughter, Angela and four grandsons; David, Michael, James and Spencer and a sister, Sherma and a niece, Jerri and a nephew, Mike.Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at 11 a.m. at the Evergreen LDS Chapel, 2435 E. 1500 No. (off Cherry Lane), Layton. Friends may visit family Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist's Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road and Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the chapel. Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery.
