Tate Timothy Jacobson2011 ~ 2013Tate Timothy Jacobson returned to his Heavenly Father Thursday, April 11, 2013 in West Jordan, Utah. Tate was born October 18th, 2011 in Salt Lake City, Utah the son of Travis and Brandi Jacobson. While it seems that 18 months was far too short of a time to be with our sweet Tate, he packed that 18 months full of love and laughter. Tate was born with Moebius Syndrome, a very rare syndrome that affects your facial nerves. Tate was not able to show a lot of expression, so instead of smiling he would laugh all day long. Everybody that knew Tate fell in love with him immediately due to his constant teasing and giggles. If he wasn't laughing, it was probably because he had you wrapped up tight in one of his hugs and kisses.Tate was born without his left hand, but he never allowed that to slow him down. He amazed us by learning how to do things his way. Our little guy will be greatly missed, but we find comfort knowing that he will no longer have to deal with the limitations his physical body placed on him while on this Earth.Tate loved his family and made sure that we all knew it. While he left us unexpectedly in his sleep, we can take comfort knowing he was loved by all that had the pleasure of knowing him. Tate is survived by his parents Travis and Brandi Jacobson; sister, Lexi Jacobson; brother, Hunter Jacobson; grandparents, Tim and Bonnie Jacobson and Scott and Traci Brown; all eight of his great-grandparents; many loving aunts and uncles and many cousins that loved him unconditionally.A celebration of Tate's life will be held at 11 a.m on Wednesday, April 17, 2013, in the LDS Meetinghouse at 8136 South Old Bingham Highway West Jordan, UT 84088. A viewing will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday at the church as well as one and a half hours prior to the services. Please take a moment to share a memory of Tate at
