Yolanda Parra Flores 1949 - 2013Our loving wife, mother, nana, sister and friend, passed away Saturday, March 30, 2013 in Sandy, Utah. She was born in Silver City, New Mexico on July 15, 1949 to Natalia Soliz and Antonio Parra. She married Robert Flores in Hurley, New Mexico on August 30, 1969. She was an amazing wife, mom, nana, scout leader, soccer coach, PTA member, seamstress, baker, church volunteer, daughter, granddaughter, sister and friend. She enjoyed arts and crafts, going on cruises with her husband and friends, spending time with and shopping for her grandchildren, reading books, playing computer games on her tablet and listening to Spanish music. After visiting with family and friends, there are so many reminders of her left behind of everything she did for others. She has been a great example for all her loved ones and friends. Yolanda has been received in Heaven by both her parents who preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband Robert, children Ralph, Ruben (Nicci), Tess (Cody) Rapp, grandchildren Suzie Flores and Angel Rapp, sisters Lorraine (George) De Luna and Bonnie Soliz, many nieces, nephews and many other loved ones.Friends and family may call on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at Saint John the Baptist Catholic Church, 300 East 11800 South in Draper beginning at 6:00pm with Rosary at 7:00pm. Requiem Mass will be held Thursday morning at 11:00am. Pall bearers: Ralph Flores, Ruben Flores, Cody Rapp, George De Luna, Gabriel Nuñez, Bobby Soliz. Honorary pall bearers: Suzie Flores and Angel Rapp and all other family members and friends. Interment will be at Larkin Sunset Gardens.
