Obituary: IRVINE, PEARL

Pearl Ehlert Irvine"We love you, Mom"Pearl Emma Irvine, 86, of Salt Lake City passed away peacefully on March 30, 2013 with her family by her side. She was born to Emil and Anna Ehlert, January 12, 1927, in Magrath Alberta, Canada. Pearl moved to Salt Lake City, where she fell in love and married William R. Irvine. They lived together in East Millcreek. She was employed as manager of the Hotel Utah coffee shop, after which she operated Pearl's Pantry in the Sugarhouse area until her retirement. She enjoyed being with her family and friends. She loved animals, especially her dog. Her adventurous nature led to a passion for travelling. Pearl was kindhearted and compassionate, always ready to help those in need. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.Pearl is survived by five children: Ann (Jerry) Strate, Bill Irvine, Jane (Rick) Giolas, Lon Irvine and Jeanette (Chad) Tilley. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 4 Great-grandchildren. A funeral will be held on Thursday, April 4, 2013 at 11:00 am at Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 South 2300 East.
