Wells B Johnson1924-2013Our dear father, grandfather and great grandfather passed away on April 21st 2013 in his home in Pleasant Grove, Utah. He was born on Aug 1st 1924 in Salt Lake City, UT. to Harold T. and Chloe Brinkerhoff Johnson. He served in the Merchant Marines during WWII. He married Daphney Lund on Sept. 22, 1950 in the Salt Lake Temple. He graduated from the U of U in 1961 with a B.S. degree. He was an active member of the LDS Church and served in many callings including Bishop in N. Las Vegas, NV. He is survived by his children Wells L. (Ruth), Rebecca (Craig) Lueck, Ronald (Diane), Lamont (Debbie), Bonnie (Richard) Dean, Sharie (Bart) Dowdle, Michael (LeAnn) and Michele (James) Woodmansee; 44 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren. Also survived by siblings Stanley Johnson and Almeda Ranck. He was preceded in death by his wife Daphney, and son Mark Johnson. Funeral services will be held Fri. April 26th 2013 at the Garden 6th Ward Chapel, 905 N. 500 W., Pleasant Grove, UT at 12 noon with viewings at the church Thursday 6-8pm and Friday 10:45-11:45am.
