Yvonne Jones Isaacson"Grammy"Naomi Yvonne Jones Defa Isaacson, mother, grandmother, sister and best friend, passed away peacefully in her sleep April 23, 2013. Now free of pain, she is able to walk back into her "Daddy and Mama's" waiting arms.Born March 24, 1939 in Tabiona, Utah to Essie and Ferris "Penny" Jones. At the age of 29 she became a published author of the children's book, "The Littlest Rabbit."Mom's greatest accomplishment were her 7 children, Richard (Denise) Defa, Dawn Salazar, Tim Isaacson, Penny Bronson, Allyson (William) Fenton, Renny (Bryce) Bennett and Susan Isaacson.She was a loving Grammy, Nana and Meme to 27 grandchildren, and 31 great-grandchildren. She looked forward to her time with her grandsons watching the Utah Jazz and NFL games. She enjoyed writing, reading, rock hunting in Snow Canyon, fishing, music from Elvis to Journey and watching movies with her girls.She is preceded in death by her loving parents, her "two favorite people" her brothers Mart and Ralph Lefler, her wonderful sister Billie Peck, grandson "Little Billy", and our father Donald "Newt" Isaacson.Survived by her "second mother" sister Flora Fabrizio, and "best friend" sister Tett (Tony) Hadlock.Mom, we will miss your witty sense of humor. We love and will remember you always.Services will be held Saturday, April 27th, 2:00 p.m. at Redwood Memorial Mortuary, 6500 So. Redwood Rd. with a viewing Friday evening from 6 8 p.m. at the mortuary and one hour prior to services.
