Sacramento completed a four game series sweep of the Bees on Sunday afternoon, as the River Cats downed Salt Lake 7-2.

Sacramento led 2-1 in the fifth when Bees' starter Matt Shoemaker walked the first two batters. Michael Taylor followed by drilling an 0-1 pitch over the left field fence to give the River Cats a four run lead.

Salt Lake scored an unearned run in the seventh to make it a 5-2 game, but Jemile Weeks hit a two run homer off of Chad Cordero in the eighth to close out the scoring.

Shoemaker (1-4) suffered his third straight loss, as he went six innings and allowed five runs on eight hits with four strikeouts and two walks.

Offensively, Salt Lake had just five hits in the game. Luis Rodriguez singled in the first inning to extend his hitting streak to seven games. Efren Navarro added one hit and one run batted in, while Matt Young, Scott Cousins and Luke Carlin each chipped in with a hit.
