PROVO, Utah — Utah Valley University senior Megan Burr posted three top 3 finishes in the 100 hurdles, 100 meters and 200 meters Saturday at the BYU Robison Invitational — the final regular-season meet before next week's Great West Conference Championships.
"It was a great weekend for her," UVU track and field coach Scott Houle said.
Burr won the 100 hurdles with the time of 14.36 second and placed third in the 100 meters (12.08) and the 200 meters (24.49). Teammate Natalie Young-Baker finished just ahead of Burr in the 200 at 24.42.
UVU sophomore Nicholas Taylor turned in a pair of great performances in the sprints by winning the 200 meters (21.31) just ahead of team Michael McPherson (21.46), who finished second. Taylor also finished second in the 100 meters (10.57).
Brooke Hodson-Davies won the women's steeplechase with the time of 10:40.50.
UVU thrower Maryn Pincock had two top 3 finishes with a second-place finish in the women's discus (152-02) and third in the women's shot put (44-04.25).
"It was a great meet with a lot of great times," Houle said.
