Jason Butler1976-2013Jason our wonderful son, grandson, brother, husband, father and dear friend was born September 13, 1976 in Canton, Ohio. He attended school in Riverton, UT where he formed life-long friendships and met the love of his life, Staci Poulson. They were high school sweethearts and best friends. Jason and Staci were married December 19, 1998.Jason was a hard-working, fun-loving spirit who endeared everyone he touched with his quick wit, great sense of humor and charm the twinkle in his eye and his smile were infectious. He lived for his family and was the "best daddy ever". His favorite times were spent with his family four-wheeling, camping and exploring old mines. Jason had a great love for all children was an animal lover and huge fan of good old rock and roll music. He was a free and wonderful loving man. Early on it was easy to see where Jason's interests were, he focused on anything with a motor, engine or computer. This led him to iron working as a profession and was employed by Wollam Construction at the time of his death. He was a welder and very good at his work. His interest and mechanical skill enabled countless renovation projects on cars and trucks that were a passion of Jason's. He was a computer wizard an interest he shared with his family. He was a collector video games from the early 80's, hot wheels cars and great finds at yard sales.He passed away during his sleep April 23, 2013. Jason is survived by his wife Staci, sons Shane and Kade, daughter Kira, mom and dad Karen and Kenley Nalder, father John Butler, sisters Jennifer Jackson and Callie Fullmer (Duane), Aunt and Uncle Gina and Dave Husted, grandmothers Jean Peppinger and Jerrie Butler and many cousins and extended family members and friends. Jason's death is preceded by his grandfathers George Peppinger and James Butler. Services will be held at Broomhead Funeral Home 12600 So. 2200 W. on Saturday May 4, 2013 at 11AM. A viewing will be held Friday May 3rd from 6-8 p.m. and friends may call 1 hour prior to services on Saturday.In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established at Mountain America Credit Union under Jason's name to help to support his family through this time. www.broomheadfuneralhome.com
