OREM, Utah — Coming off a series sweep over Chicago State, Utah Valley University will play its final non-conference game of the season when BYU makes the short trip to Brent Brown Ballpark on Tuesday. First pitch is set for 6 p.m. between the neighboring schools.

Sophomore LHP Braden Poole (1-2, 2.35) will make his first start of the season and the second of his career. BYU is slated to start freshman RHP Keaton Cenatiempo (2-2, 4.76)

The Wolverines (18-21) swept all four games of the Great West Conference series over the weekend, scoring 15 runs in each of the last two games of the series. UVU had 20 extra base hits in the series including 12 doubles and six triples.

The Cougars (21-17) dropped two of three at West Coast Conference leader Gonzaga, a team that Utah Valley split two games with on the opening weekend of the season.

BYU leads the all-time series 15-7, but the teams have split the last six meetings dating back to the end of the 2009 season.

Utah Valley has three Great West series remaining in a bid for its fourth straight conference championship. The Wolverines are in second place entering the weekend and travel to third-place Northern Colorado for a four-game set that starts Friday afternoon in Greeley, Colo.
