Richard A Dal Soglio "Dick"Richard A. Dal Soglio was born March 19, 1921, in Rupert, Idaho to Ermette and Anna Leoni Dal Soglio. He grew up in Rupert and served his country as a Marine (Simper Fi) in World War II. He married his sweetheart, Dorothy Huff, in Rupert and they raised their children in Albany, Oregon. They moved back to Burley for five years then transferred to Salt Lake in 1978 where he lived until his death on April 25, 2013.He has been in the fuel business as an owner of Dal Soglio Distributing and Dal Soglio, Inc. since 1973. He started a legacy of honesty and respect that spans forty years and three generations. He loved his family, friends and employees with a devoted heart. He will be missed for his wisdom, hugs, and generosity of spirit. His shoes can never be filled, as he left a very large footprint in our hearts.He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Dorothy Dal Soglio; sons, Steven (Cindy) Dal Soglio of Sandy, UT, and Lt. Col. (ret.) Douglas (Christine) Dal Soglio, of Colorado Springs, CO; five grandchildren, Stephanie, Jennifer, Anthony, Dan and BriAnna; sisters, Olga McBride, Delores (Carl) Staley, and Irene Dal Soglio. He is preceded in death by his brother, Hugo Dal Soglio, and his parents. A celebration of life and sharing of memories will be held at Larkin Sunset Gardens on 1950 E. 10600 S. on Friday, May 3rd, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. under the direction of Larkin Sunset Gardens. The family will be available until 9:00 p.m. for friends and family to call. Online condolences at
