Harry Bruce Davis"To Be Or Not To Be"Harry Bruce Davis, age 56, beloved husband, brother, uncle, teacher and friend passed away on 02 April 2013 in Murray, Utah. Born on 08 May 1956 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Harry and Bonnie Young Davis.Harry graduated from South High, earned his BA in Speech Communications at Weber State College. He later earned his Masters in Educational Studies & Curriculum in Instructional Development at the University of Utah. He dedicated his life as a teacher. His outstanding ability to successfully coach debate for over 30 years at three schools: St. Joseph's, Kearns and Hunter High, earned him a Five Diamond Status in the National Forensic League.Harry met the love of his life, Toni Beal, and married her 100 days later on Friday, 13 October 2006 in Taylorsville. The marriage was solemnized exactly one year later in the Salt Lake Temple 13 October 2007. His joys were teaching and spending time with his family. We will miss his sense of fun and his laughter.An active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, he served in many callings, including: Home Teacher, Sunday School President, Branch Clerk, Gospel Doctrine teacher and was currently serving a mission with his wife at the FamilySearch Center in Riverton. Proud of his pioneer heritage, Harry lived by the advice of his 3rd great grandfather, Lorenzo Dow Young, to "Never turn down a calling". His hardest calling was leaving his loving wife, family and friends to return home.Survived by his wife, Toni and five siblings; Dale (Pamela) Davis, Kenneth (Mary) Davis, Boni Sheryn (John) Luck, Barbara (Gene) Gailey, Colleen (Scott) Jackson. Fifteen nieces and nephews and one great niece. Preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and a nephew.Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 10, 2013 - 11:00 AM at the Taylorsville North Stake Center, 1250 West Atherton Drive (4375 South). There will be a viewing at the same location, Tuesday evening from 6 - 8 PM and Wednesday, 9:30 -10:45 AM prior to the service. Burial will be at the Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 E. 10600 S. in Sandy, Utah. Online condolences at www.larkincares.com
