EMERY 4, MILLARD 3: The Spartans advanced to the semifinals.

KANAB 5, GRAND 4: The Cowboys advanced to the semifinals.

ONE-LOSS BRACKET

PAROWAN 9, NORTH SEVIER 5: Parowan advanced in the one-loss bracket with a victory over North Sevier.

SAN JUAN 6, RICHFIELD 5: After blowing a four-run lead in the bottom of the seventh, San Juan's Barkley Christensen drove in the game-winning run in the top of the eighth as the Broncos advanced past Richfield in the one-loss bracket. After scoring four runs in the bottom of the seventh, Richfield was in prime position to win it with bases loaded and no outs, but it couldn't bring the winning run home.

PAROWAN 5, SAN JUAN 2: Parowan jumped out to an early lead against San Juan and then held on to advance through the 2A one-loss bracket with its second victory on Thursday.

BEAVER 5, MANTI 0: Beaver kept its state title hopes alive with an impressive shutout victory.

WEBER 5, NORTHRIDGE 0: Tyler Arrington pitched the complete-game shutout with six Ks to pace Weber past Northridge in region play.

SYRACUSE 4, DAVIS 3: Chase Baurele's hit in the bottom of the eighth inning brought home the winning run for Syracuse. Jason Jourdan earned the win from the hill for the Titans.

LAYTON 4, FREMONT 1: Layton clinched a share of the Region 1 title with a victory at Fremont.

REGION 5

BONNEVILLE 7, BOX ELDER 6: Bonneville scored two runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to escape with the narrow victory against Box Elder. Will Heward led the way for the Lakers with three hits, while Dakota Buckway picked up the win on the mound.

ROY 6, SKY VIEW 5: Roy held-off Sky View's five-run rally in the top of the seventh inning to escape with the region victory. Braxton Patton earned the win from the mound for the Royals.

REGION 6

WOODS CROSS 9, CYPRUS 8: Woods Cross wrapped up the regular season with a come-from-behind victory over Cyprus at Spring Mobile Ballpark.

NONREGION

OREM 8, SPRINGVILLE 2: Orem rolled past Springville in the first game of the Region 8 three-way state tournament play-in game. Next is Provo with the No. 5 seed on the line.

PROVO 10, OREM 5: Provo clinched the final playoff spot from Region 5 with a strong win over Orem.

REGION 1

DAVIS 1, WEBER 0: The Darts topped Weber on the last day of the regular season, finishing in a fourth-place tie with Northridge for the last playoff spot. Davis and Northridge will have a play-in game at Davis on Friday at 5 p.m.

FREMONT 1, LAYTON 1: Layton and Fremont shared the points in the final Region 1 game of the season, a result good enough to clinch the Lancers the region title.

REGION 3

BRIGHTON 3, COPPER HILLS 1: Brighton clinched the Region 3 championship with a strong road victory over Copper Hills. The Grizzlies briefly cut Brighton's lead to 2-1 in the second half, but the Bengals tacked on an important insurance goal midway through the second half.

REGION 5

ROY 5, SKY VIEW 0: Brock Charlesworth scored two goals for the Royals in the Region 5 win. Kaden Brinkerhoff earned credit for the shutout.

REGION 7

MURRAY 2, HILLCREST 0: Andrew Clayton and Chad Piersen each netted goals while Tanner Critchfield recorded the shutout to lead Murray past Hillcrest. Chris Oregon also dished out an assist in the win.

OLYMPUS 2, SKYLINE 2: The Region 7 game ended in a tie after two overtimes.

FIRST ROUND

GRAND 11, AMERICAN LEADERSHIP 1: Donna Snow pitched the win from the circle and Teaven Fredericks roped a home run as Grand blew past ALA in five innings.

ENTERPRISE 11, DUCHESNE 1: Dakota Robinson ripped two doubles and knocked one out of the park, while Madison Holmes and Taylor Phelps each hit two doubles to power Enterprise. Danielle Hess pitched the win for the Wolves.

SOUTH SUMMIT 5, PAROWAN 2: South Summit scored three runs in the bottom of the fifth inning and held on to beat Parowan in the first round of the 2A playoffs. Natalie Nichols pitched the win for the Wildcats.

GUNNISON 9, RICHFIELD 1: Gunnison was able to limit Richfield to just one run as the Bulldogs cruised past the Wildcats in the first round of the 2A Playoffs. Sadee Sorensen earned the win on the mound for Gunnison.

SUMMIT ACADEMY 1, BEAVER 0: Summit Academy blanked Beaver to advance through the winner's bracket of the 2A state tournament. CheyAnne Dahl finished with 12 Ks in the victory.

MANTI 10, NORTH SUMMIT 0: Six of Manti's 12 hits went for extra bases and Kali Thomson pitched the shut-out victory to propel the Templars over North Summit. Mikaela Cox also roped a double and a homer in the win.

SAN JUAN 15, NORTH SEVIER 0: San Juan racked up 13 hits in four innings to blow past North Sevier and advance to the winner's bracket of the 2A Playoffs. Tatianna Sue Sue pitched the no-hit shutout and went yard for the Broncos.

MILLARD 17, ALTAMONT 2: Millard scattered 16 hits and scored 17 runs in the first three innings to pick up the first-round victory over Altamont. Meagan Dearden earned the win from the circle and hit a home run to power the Eagles.

WINNERS BRACKET

ENTERPRISE 8, GRAND 3: The third-ranked Wolves survived a tough quarterfinal game against Grand in the 2A state tournament. Dakota Robinson earned the win and hit one of the team's three doubles in leading the Wolves to a win.

MANTI 11, SUMMIT ACADEMY 1: The top-ranked Templars earned a decisive quarterfinal win against the Bears behind solid hitting that included three doubles and a home run by Takisha McFarlane.

SAN JUAN 8, MILLARD 7: The second-ranked Broncos survived an extra-inning battle against fifth-ranked Millard to advance in the 2A playoffs. San Juan had three home runs — Brooke Lyman, L'Sha Eldredge and winning pitcher Tatianna Su'e Su'e.

SOUTH SUMMIT 11, GUNNISON 1: Natalie Nichols earned the win as the fourth-ranked Wildcats advance in the 2A state tournament.

ONE-LOSS BRACKET

AMERICAN LEADERSHIP 17, DUCHESNE 2: Nikayla Wride smacked two doubles and ALA racked up 17 runs in four innings to defeat Duchesne. Courtney Lewis pitched the win from the circle for the Eagles.

BEAVER 10, NORTH SUMMIT 4: Beaver put seven runs up on the board in the bottom of the sixth and held on to defeat North Summit. Brielle Christensen doubled and homered while Keara Hofheins pitched the win and also went yard to lead the Beavers.

RICHFIELD 13, PAROWAN 3: Richfield didn't make a single error in the field and racked up 14 hits at the plate to defeat Parowan. Madison Utley led the way for the Wildcats with a home run and a double.

ALTAMONT 10, NORTH SEVIER 8

REGION 1

SYRACUSE 5, LAYTON 0: Courtney Starks homered and doubled while Alex Valencia pitched the win from the circle to lead Syracuse past Layton.

DAVIS 12, NORTHRIDGE 2: Kayla Pusey and Cierra Udseth each hit a double in the victory over Northridge. Cheyenne Norton picked up the win in the circle for the Darts.

FREMONT 7, WEBER 3: Fremont wrapped up the regular season with a victory over visiting Weber to clinch a tie for second in Region 1.

REGION 2

VIEWMONT 17, WEST 2: Riley Tyteca smacked a home run for the Vikings in the Region 2 victory. Eliza Thornley hit a triple and picked up the win in the circle.

TAYLORSVILLE 14, GRANGER 0: Karlee Jensen, Aubrey Kilpack, and Cami Mathews each hit a home run in the win against Granger. Shaelee Pearson was 4-for-4 with a double, and Jilea Fobair was 3-for-3 with double.

COPPER HILLS 10, COTTONWOOD 0: The Grizzlies shut out the Colts.

BRIGHTON 10, ALTA 6: Lizzie Bertram contributed two doubles to the Bengals' 13 hits. Kylie Everill, along with hitting a triple, struck out 13 batters in the win.

REGION 5

ROY 6, BONNEVILLE 5: Roy's four-run rally in the bottom of the seventh inning gave the Royals the region victory over Bonneville. Jordynn Barrera cracked two homers while Mackenzie Kolb pitched the win for Roy.

BOX ELDER 19, LOGAN 1: Box Elder's Ashley Green ripped three doubles while Cierra Stokes added a double and a triple to lead the Bees in the blowout victory. Abigayle Martin earned the win from the circle.

MOUNTAIN CREST 14, SKY VIEW 2: The Mustangs crushed Sky View to clinch the No. 2 seed from Region 5, while Sky View falls into a play-in game tiebreaker with Roy on Friday.

REGION 6

WOODS CROSS 1, BOUNTIFUL 0: Ashley Allan drove in the RBI for the only run of the game. Hanalee Robinson earned credit for the shutout in the Region 6 victory.

EAST 13, CYPRUS 2: Michelle Thomas hit two home runs and a double for the Leopards in the Region 6 victory. Angelique Lokeni picked up the win in the circle.

CLEARFIELD 15, HIGHLAND 0: Bailey Douglas cracked two doubles and pitched the shut-out win from the circle as Clearfield cruised past Highland.

REGION 8

SPRINGVILLE 13, TIMPANOGOS 1: Miranda Follette and Amberley Austin both doubled twice as Springville throttled Timpanogos in the first of two Region 8 games on Thursday.

SALEM HILLS 8, OREM 0: Salem Hills earned the Region 8 crown behind Kirtlyn Bohling's 13 Ks and just one walk in the shutout win. The Skyhawks' bats came alive in the fifth and sixth innings with Abbie Tuttle plating a three-run homer and Kaylee Simons hitting a double.

PROVO 6, MAPLE MOUNTAIN 5: After being down two runs in the bottom of the seventh, Eleanor Talia smacked a three-run homer to win the game for the Bulldogs.

MOUNTAIN VIEW 16, TIMPVIEW 0: The Bruins shut out the T-Birds.

DELTA 7, NORTH SANPETE 5: Delta took an early 5-0 lead and held on to escape with the narrow victory over North Sanpete. Bailie Taylor cracked a homer and doubled while Danielle Fowles pitched the win to pace the Rabbits.
