John William Park, Jr.1944 ~ 2013John William Park, Jr., 68, passed away peacefully, Friday, May 10, 2013, surrounded by his family. John was born June 4, 1944 to John William and Ida Ruby Woolsey. John was the 9th of 10 children. He was preceded in death, by his parents, his son Ryan, and three siblings. He was a loving father who always put his wife, children, and grandchildren above his own comfort. Hardest worker who gave much of his time to others, he was a great care giver, very thoughtful, organized, a great singer, and an amazing basketball coach and player. Interactive and involved father and grandfather who found the most pride in his children and grandchildren. He had a gift at keeping his siblings close, who he loved dearly. Even on his deathbed he was concerned about the comfort of his wife and others. John loved the American constitution, was an avid BYU fan, and a master printer who had great attention to detail. He is a husband, father, grandfather, and brother who is going to be missed more than words can describe. We love you dad and will be comforted knowing you are with your Father in heaven.Survived by his wife of 43 years Barbara Bateman, children Bret (Angie), Tifani (Eric) Felman, Spencer (Katie), Rachelle (Jeremy) Deus, Cheryse (Mark) Cropper, and 15 grandchildren. Friends and family may pay their respects Tuesday, May 14, 2013 from 6:00-8:00 p.m., and Wednesday, May 15 9-10 a.m., followed by funeral services Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at 10:30 at LDS Church, 9119 S 1300 E. Sandy, Utah.
