Jodi Rae Morgan1960 ~ 2013Jodi Rae Morgan, 52, was reunited with her sweet angel, Jayd, her best pal, Zuma, her loving Aunt Peg, and doting Grandma Hall on 12 May 2013. She was born on November 6, 1960 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Carl and Sally Rae Robison. Jodi grew up in Salt Lake City and graduated from Kearns High School in 1979. She was a member of the madrigals, star powder-puff quarterback, and student body secretary. Jodi also loved to ski and had many happy memories visiting her grandparents in Park City.Jodi married Danny Joe Morgan in 1980 in Salt Lake City, Utah. They were later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. They were happily married for 33 years and are the parents of four wonderful children. Jodi was incredibly beautiful and a vivacious soul that lifted the burdens of those around her. She was a light that brightened the darkest hours and her laughter lightened the heaviest of loads. Jodi was never afraid to stop and talk with strangers and found joy in lifting others up.Jodi worked most recently for South Jordan City and loved working with her "boys"; however, she was blessed with healing hands and her true life's passion was working as an EMT and public relations specialist for Life Flight. She earned her angel wings through many years of service and dedication.Jodi was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and had a faithful testimony of her Savior. She was dedicated to her scripture studies and reread the Book of Mormon and Bible many times over. She loved serving in the Young Women's organization and had a special place in her heart for all the young women. She also shared her musical talents and served as ward organist for many years. Jodi is preceded in death by her son, Jayd Wesley Morgan, her mother, Sally Rae Robison, and grandparents Iola and Barney Hall.Jodi is survived by her husband, Joe of West Jordan, Utah; her son Justin (Deborah) Morgan of Monroe, Utah, daughter Janay (Jason) Jespersen of Salt Lake City, Utah, and son Jeff Morgan of Herriman, Utah; her father Carl Robison of Riverton, Utah; her brother Terry (Janet) Robison of Logan, Utah, sister Amber (Reed) Trussel of Riverton, Utah, and brother Shaun (Leah) Robison of West Jordan, Utah; and her nieces and nephews and other relatives. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 17, at the West Jordan 11th Ward building at 7300 South 2200 West, West Jordan, Utah. Viewings will be held at Murray Memorial Mortuary, 5850 South 900 East, Murray, Utah on Thursday, May 16th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Friday, May 17th at the West Jordan 11th Ward building from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. Interment will be at the Murray City Cemetery.In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to the Christopher Reeve Spinal Cord Injury and Paralysis Foundation.
