Jeffrey Eugene Shields1953 ~ 2013Magna, UTIn loving memory of our husband, father, grandpa, and brother, Jeffrey Eugene Shields who passed away May 16, 2013. He was born September 11, 1953 in Salt Lake City, UT to Harold E. and Lorraine Coon Shields. Married Paula Rae Pixton May 11, 1973 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Jeff is a member of the LDS church. He was a hardworking man who served as Scout Master and as a soccer coach for many years. He loved life, loved his dogs, and was a great dad and wonderful grandpa. He will be greatly missed. He is survived by his wife; children, Jeremy (Jennifer), Amanda (Jamie Dawson), Jennifer (Jason) Dickinson, and Emily (Joey) Foerster; 11 grandchildren; brother, Jerry (Anneli); and sister, Linda (Alan) Taylor. Preceded in death by his parents.Funeral services will be held 12 noon Thursday, May 23, 2013 at the Lake Ridge 3rd Ward, 3151 S. 7700 W. Visitations will be held Wednesday 6-8 p.m. at Peel Funeral Home, 8525 W. 2700 S., and Thursday 11-11:45 a.m. at the church. Interment: Valley View Memorial Park.
