Rosella Magdalene Hansen Greene1923 ~ 2013Rosella Greene passed away peacefully in her home, surrounded by family and at the side of her loving husband, on April 30, 2013 in Salt Lake City, Utah.Rose was born October 23, 1923 in Woodrow, Colorado, the third daughter of six children of Rosella Jean Alexander and John Hansen. Raised on a homestead and ever the hard worker, Rose always shared her many life lessons with those she loved. Grandma was ever concerned with others, focusing not on herself, always ready with a story or a joke to lift spirits.Mom dedicated much of her life to learning about those who came before and completing their genealogy, publishing numerous books on many branches of our family tree.Faithful always to what she believed she remained strong throughout all her days, keeping the Lord in her heart at all times. Rose is survived by her loving and eternal husband of more than thirty-three years, Robert Boyd Greene. She leaves behind four children, twelve grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, twelve great-great-grandchildren, and many loving friends. Grandma will be dearly missed, if but for the short time until we meet again.Graveside services will be held on Friday, May 3, 2013 at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, 1750 East 3300 South.
