Keith Oral Forsyth1940 ~ 2013Our dear husband, dad, grandpa, great-grandpa, brother and friend, Keith O. Forsyth, returned home May 20, 2013 after a short, valiant fight with cancer.Keith was born April 1, 1940 in Teasdale (Wayne County), Utah to Oral V. and Joy Forsyth. He married his sweetheart, Ramah Marshall on August 3, 1963 in Hunter, Utah; later solemnized in the St. George Temple.Keith worked for Garkane Power and Murray City Power as a lineman and foreman. He served faithfully as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, including 7 years as a temple worker in the Jordan River Temple. Keith was a "fix-it" man, who also enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening. He loved family history and sharing his heritage with his family. He always had a story to tell about growing up in Wayne County. Dad taught us the importance of family and serving others. Survived by his loving wife; daughters, Patti (Kent) Williams, Barbara (Jeff) Frame, Vicki (Dave) Lewis, and Sandra Forsyth; 8 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; siblings, Neil (AnaMae), Don (Bonnie), Carolyn (Kenny) Turner, Gwen (Clare) Wardle, and many extended family and friends.Preceded in death by his parents; sister, Phyllis and granddaughter, Heidi Marie Williams.Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 23rd, 10:00 a.m. at the West Jordan 29th Ward, 6695 So. 2200 W. with a viewing Wednesday evening from 6:00 8:00 p.m. at the church and one hour prior to services. Interment, Redwood Memorial Cemetery . The family wishes to thank the staff at Intermountain Hospice and IMC for the loving care they gave to Keith.
