Annabelle Lucille Lyday Laver1929 ~ 2013Ann passed away May 20, 2013 in Holladay, Utah at the age of 84. Ann was born in Salt Lake City on March 5, 1929 to Fitzhugh Lee Lyday and Lois May Lacy Lyday. She was the oldest of six children. Ann married Frank H. Laver on September 22, 1950 and was later sealed to Frank in the Salt Lake Temple on April 10, 1953. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints all her life. She was a teacher in the Primary and Cub Scouts for 20 plus years. She served a mission with her husband for the church at the Family History Library. She was also a member of The Daughters of the American Revolution. Ann enjoyed classical music, her beautiful flower garden, and riding motorcycles in the mountains near Mantua, Utah. She even liked fishing when the family went to Moon Lake, more accurately; she enjoyed steering the boat while other people did the fishing. Her favorite color was yellow. Ann was a wonderful mother, wife, sister, daughter and friend. Ann always cared for others and strived to bring happiness to everyone she loved. She will be deeply missed by everyone who was touched by her kind hearted soul. We are blessed to have been a part of her life and she will always be in our hearts.Ann is survived by her husband, Frank and children, Frank Timothy (Sabrina), Leeann Gilman (Sean), 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She is also survived by brothers, Joseph (Lujean), Jimmy (Janice), Jene (Denise) and brother-in-law, Jim Fisher. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Dorothy and her brother Jared.Funeral Services will be held, Thursday, May 23, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Holladay 1st Ward, 2065 East 4675 South. There will be a gathering on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 from 6:30 7:30 p.m. and again on Thursday from 10:00-10:30 a.m. at the same location. Interment Larkin Sunset Gardens.
