BRYCE CANYON NATIONAL PARK — Bryce Canyon National Park is seeking local artists of all ages to submit original artwork or photographs for the fourth annual Utah Prairie Dog Day Poster Contest.
Utah Prairie Dog Day will be held at the park on Friday, June 21. The theme is "Living Together — The Complex Social World of Utah Prairie Dogs." The park invites artists to submit original artwork or photographs depicting life in a Utah prairie dog colony.
Artwork should not be larger than 11 by 17 inches. Artwork will be separated into several age categories for children 18 and under, with adults 18 and over judged together.
Submissions will be reviewed by representatives from Bryce Canyon National Park and Natural History Association. First-place winners from each category will receive a prize with the grand prize winning artwork placed on this year's Utah Prairie Dog Day official poster.
