Joyce Hawke Rankin1950 ~ 2013Joyce Hawke Rankin passed away in Draper, UT on May 24, 2013, surrounded by her two children, Adam and Ashlee, and husband, Greg.She was born August 21, 1950 in Provo, UT, to Don and Blanche Moulton Hawke. She married Gregory Rankin on August 20, 1977 in the Salt Lake Temple.Her family and faith were the center of her life. She held various callings in the church and enjoyed working with the youth as a seminary teacher and Young Women's President. She faithfully supported her husband when he was called to serve as a bishop and regularly attended the temple. She was so grateful for the Gospel. The plan of salvation and the promise of an eternal family became more important to Joyce after she was diagnosed with breast cancer.Joyce is survived by her children, Adam and Ashlee (Nate), and her husband. She has one granddaughter, Alaina. She is also survived by her five sisters, Jeanine (Winston), Mary Dawn (Ron), Elaine (Dale), Louise (Chad), Kathy (Moury), and her two brothers, Robert (Jan) and Tom (Mary Ann). Her parents preceded her in death.The family would like to thank Community Nursing Services Hospice for their help over the past two weeks.
