Margie Elizabeth Carlson Malstrom1924 ~ 2013Margie Elizabeth Carlson Malstrom Born February 20, 1924 died peacefully, on Sunday, May 26th. Beloved wife of Stan and affectionate mother to Rodney, Margene, Kendel, Bart and her adopted son, George Silversmith. Margie had a sweet, gentle spirit and a wry sense of humor. She was a wonderful grandmother who loved playing with her 23 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.She had a natural talent for clogging and hairdressing, and she played a wicked game of double solitaire. Margie had the rare capacity to listen intently and respond kindly. She bore her hardships with fortitude and patience.Memorial service Friday May 31st, 11 a.m., at the Mountain View Mortuary 7800 S. 3115 East, Cottonwood Heights. A viewing will be held Thursday evening 6:00 8:00 p.m. and Friday from 10 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Mountain View Mortuary.
