Valerie Jordan Reitan (Duncan)1953 ~ 2013Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and aunt passed away April 30, 2013, in Murray, Utah, after a prolonged illness. She passed peacefully while surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her husband, Phil; her children, Robby (Rachelle), Michelle (Toby), and Dan; two step-daughters, Nicole and Brittany, her mother, Mary; her brother, Steve; her sister, Pam; and her ex-husband Tony (Michiko); and 8 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, George; and two brothers, Gary and Jeffrey.Val loved music, playing the piano, arts and crafts, reading, and spending time with her family. She loved having her family over at her home and enjoyed spending as much time with them as possible. She always placed her family first and nothing meant more to her than them. She will be sorely missed. An open house will be held at her residence on Saturday, May 11, 2013 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The address is 3675 Alveron Drive, Taylorsville, Utah.
